Of Me and The World

Being too lazy to open up the newspaper has brought up some issues.
One of which is that I don't know whats happening with the world.
On the very few and very suprising occasion that I do open a newspaper, I found out that the world is going bust.

Lets start of with the UK shall we?

The United Kingdom, the place where there is a clock named like a person and where the Beckham's call home.
And right now, there are riots around, especially in London.
It started with Mark Duggan (if I'm not mistaken) being shot by the rozzers for allegedly being a drug dealer.
Added to the fact that he's black tugs on the strings of racial tension.
Thus the riots.
I would compare the riots like when Rodney King was beaten up in the US of A.
Plus, and for no good reason, Malaysia has got a mention in it.
One of our boys got robbed and it's on video.
Just check out youtube.
For me, I don't see any order restored for the time being.
So, we'll just have to wait what David Cameron has in store to bring back peace in London.
And compensate for the Malaysian for his bike has also been taken.

Now, to the US of A.
Its going bankrupt.
Obama (nothing to do with my friend Izzat Fauzan) signed of on a bill to raise the debt limit to I don't know how many trillions.
And he said that it was left by the last administration.
See?
Bush planned it all along.
Or is it just an excuse by Obama to blame Bush to be his scapegoat.
But, I hope their economy returns back to normal, if not the worlds economy will be fucked up.

For some reason if I got the facts wrong,
its just evidence to show that I should pick up the newspaper more.

Of The UK Phone Hacking Scandal

Saw a little bit of the meeting between the MPs of Britain with the people supposedly involved with the phone hacking scandal.
Rupert Murdoch made a statement during the hearing that it was the most humbling day ever to him.

Poor knackered old goat.

But it raises a question, does he really know about the phone hacking, tapping or whatever you wanna call it, in the first place.
Some events can happen unbeknownst to the superiors of a lower positioned worker.
But, Rupert must know, its printed on the defunct News of The World newspaper.

And this raises a question:
"Does this happen here in Malaysia?"

Now, I'm not pointing fingers to any party,
but still it is a question thats popped in mind after this scandal had happened in the UK.
I know a few countries do listen to the coversations of its citizen over the phone.
But they say, it for national security purposes.
But they, whatever works for them.

For me, its feels like an infringement of privacy, which it actually is.
Just imagine, you are having phone sex with with your partner, and you hear another person say:
"OH YEAH BABY!!!!!!"
It will freak you the fucking out, right?

But the victims in the UK scandal have more than people hearing their phone sex conversation to worry about.
And this serves as a warning to Malaysians;
STOP HACKING THINGS YOU BLOODY BASTARDS!

Rants on Bersih 2.0

Call it a protest, riot, a walk for democracy, whatever you wanna call it, it has happened.

A day where tear gas cans are flying through crowds and theres even reports of death among them during the Bersih rally.

The rally was not without reason though. Their only demanding a cleaner voting system.

And I commend them for that. It is a real step to democracy.

But still, through a rally?

Come on people, you know rallies does nothing but shit,

and also makes the city littered with garbage.

No change can be made by parading down streets and shouting slogans.

There are way better channels than through parading o the streets shouting and getting sprayed with water cannons and hurting your eyes with tear gas.

I personally know that there are many members of the parliament who is involved with the rally.

And they do serve a purpose. So, use them to voice out about this matter.

Bring this thing into parliament. Settle it like gentlemen, not like barbarians wielding stick and stones.

I know you will lose that battle.

Ever heard the saying: "the pen is mightier than the sword"?

Nowadays, it is not just a saying, it is a reality.

So come on, lets just gather aound, and have a chat about this matter.
